Dandapat Yuva Seva Sangathan Marks Its Second Annual Function with Grandeur

Dharmagarh (Rajat Bansal): The Dandapat Yuva Seva Sangathan, a beacon of voluntary service in the state, celebrated its second annual function with pomp and show at Bharatiya Vidya Sriniketan College, Behera, located in the Dharmagarh Block of Kalahandi district. The event underscored the organization’s unwavering commitment to community development and empowerment.

Rajat Bansal, the esteemed president of the Sangathan, chaired the function, setting a tone of leadership and vision for the future. The event was graced by the presence of Subrat Tripathi, director of Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Kalahandi, who served as the chief guest, and Abinash Mund, Secretary of Professor Bhubaneswar Behera Memorial Youth Organization, who captivated the audience as the chief speaker. Suchitra Gopal, president of Dandapat Producers Group, and Surendra Naik, the college Principal, were honored as guests of honour, reflecting the collaborative spirit of the Sangathan.

The function was a momentous occasion, celebrating the tangible impact of the Sangathan’s initiatives in the Dandapat area. The guests lauded the organization’s efforts and its role in illuminating the path of progress for the community.

A highlight of the event was the recognition of academic achievement, with 40 students receiving certificates for completing the third phase of tailoring training—a joint endeavor by the Sangathan and Jan Shikshan Sansthan. This initiative is a testament to the Sangathan’s dedication to skill development and vocational education.

Special accolades were bestowed upon Sabitri Naik and Chandini Bhoi, the trainers who have been the backbone of the tailoring program, nurturing the skills of 120 students over two years. Their exceptional contribution was acknowledged with gratitude and applause.

The event’s proceedings were seamlessly conducted by Kshirasindhu Banua, a member of the Sangathan, while Iswar Banua expressed the collective appreciation of the organization through a heartfelt vote of thanks.

The success of the function was a collective achievement, made possible by the concerted efforts of the Sangathan’s members, including Joint secretary Sushil Chandra Nag, Treasurer Bhikari Charan Gopal, and many others who played pivotal roles in orchestrating the event.

As the curtains fell on the second annual function, the Dandapat Yuva Seva Sangathan stood proud, not just for a successful event, but for setting a benchmark in community service and youth empowerment that resonates across the state and beyond.
