Kalahandi (Rajat Bansal): In a significant event held at Prathamika Shikshak Bhawan in Bhawanipatna, the Bhabanipatna and Thuamul Rampur Block Primary Teachers’ Association announced the retirement extension for two esteemed educators, Ujjwal Kumar Dalai from Thuamul Rampur Block and Sanjukta Behera from Sadar Block. The meeting was presided over by Sadar Block President Madhusudan Pradhan, with Sadar Block BEO Achari Shabar serving as the chief guest.
ABEO-cum-BRCC Jaya Kumar Majhi was the chief speaker at the event, alongside ABEO Jagadish Mund, Hrushikesh Naik, District Primary Teachers Association President Birendra Kumar Bag, General Secretary Dhirendra Kumar Patnaik, and Adviser Binod Bihari Mandal. Additional notable attendees included Thuamul Rampur Block Teachers Association President Ajit Kumar Nayak and General Secretary Suresh Chandra Naik, as well as Narla Block General Secretary Amit Kumar Sharma.
Senior Teacher Minati Kumari Pradhan moderated the meeting, and Sadar Block General Secretary Pradyumna Hota delivered the welcome address. The event was further attended by core committee members Jogeshwar Mishra, Phillip Khansma, Srinivas Achari, Amarendra Patnaik, Jagdish Pani, Tapan Kumar Behera, Rameshwar Naik, Subhas Chandra Biswal, and Pramod Bishi. District Treasurer Shiv Prasad Das, Thuamul Rampur Block Vice President Subash Chandra Naik, and Sadar Block Vice Presidents Dushmanta Naik and Benudhar Biswal were also present.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Sadar Block Vice President Benudhar Biswal, marking a momentous occasion for the teaching community in the region.
