Bhubaneswar (Rajat Bansal): Sahitya Akademi organised Mulakat and Pravasi Manch programmes on Friday at Rotary Bhawan, Bhubaneswar. As the chair person of the programmes, Convener of Odia advisory board Dr Gourahari Das said that, young writers should concentrate their writings with more emotions. Without emotion stories and poems may be dry at all. In Mulakat programmes odia poems and short stories read by Manisha Biswal, Sasanka Priyasakha, Supriya Panda and Truptiranjan Das.
In the second session Pravasi Manch programme was held with well known author and publisher Satya Pattnaik. He narrated his literary journey alongwith responsibility as a publisher in America. He suggested many points for development of Odia literature and also informed about various International awards. At the end vote of thanks was proposed by Pabitra Mohan Kar. A large number of senior writers and young authors were present in this programmes as audience.
