वाशिंगटन: अमेरिका में कोरोना का संकट काफी गंभीर हो चुका है मगर इसके साथ ही नवंबर में होने वाले राष्ट्रपति चुनाव की गतिविधियां भी तेजी से चल रही हैं। अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति और रिपब्लिकन पार्टी के उम्मीदवार डोनाल्ड ट्रंप और पूर्व उपराष्ट्रपति और डेमोक्रेटिक पार्टी के उम्मीदवार जो बिडेन के बीच आरोप-प्रत्यारोप का दौर शुरू हो चुका है। अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने कहा है कि देश में नवंबर में होने वाले राष्ट्रपति पद के चुनाव में डेमोक्रेटिक पार्टी के उम्मीदवार जो बिडेन ने एक नेता के रूप में पिछले पांच दशक में अमेरिका की अर्थव्यवस्था को बहुत नुकसान पहुंचाया है और यदि पूर्व उपराष्ट्रपति चुनाव जीत जाते हैं, तो यह चीन की जीत होगी।
ट्रंप ने ओहायो के डेटन में सोमवार को एक रैली में कहा, जो बिडेन ने पिछले 47 साल में आपकी नौकरियां चीन और विदेशों में भेजीं। आप यह जानते हैं। मैं पिछले चार साल में हमारे देश और ओहायो में नौकरियां वापस लेकर आया हूं।
उन्होंने नवंबर में होने वाले चुनाव को बेहद महत्वपूर्ण बताते हुए कहा, तीन नवंबर को अमेरिकी यह फैसला करेंगे कि क्या हम अपने देश को समृद्धि की नई ऊंचाइयों पर ले जाएंगे या हम जो बिडेन– स्लीपी (सोते रहने वाले) बिडेन– को हमारी अर्थव्यस्था को बंद करने, करों में 4000 अरब डॉलर की बढ़ोतरी करने, ओहायो के स्वच्छ कोयले, तेल, प्राकृतिक गैस को नष्ट करने तथा फैक्ट्रियों में आपकी नौकरियों को चीन और अन्य देशों में जाने की अनुमति देंगे।
ट्रंप ने कहा, सरल भाषा में कहें तो यदि बिडेन जीतते हैं, तो चीन की जीत होगी। यदि हम जीतते हैं, तो यह ओहायो और अमेरिका की जीत होगी, क्योंकि आपके पास अंतत: एक ऐसा राष्ट्रपति है, जो अमेरिका को पहले रखता है और मैं अमेरिका को पहले रखता हूं।
ट्रंप ने कोरोना वायरस संक्रमण के खतरे के बावजूद पिछले दो सप्ताह में चुनावी रैलियां की हैं, जिनमें हजारों लोगों ने मास्क लगाए बिना और सामाजिक दूरी का पालन किए बगैर भाग लिया है। ट्रंप ने इन रैलियों को मूर्खता के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन करार दिया है।
उन्होंने कहा, आप जानते हैं कि यह वास्तव में रैली नहीं है…. यह वास्तव में ‘एक मित्रवत प्रदर्शन’ है। आप जानते हैं कि हम किस चीज के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं। हम मूर्खता के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं, क्योंकि बहुत सी मूर्खतापूर्ण चीजें होती दिख रही हैं।
