कोच्चि: केरल मुख्यमंत्री पिनाराई विजयन ने कहा है कि अभी राज्य में ‘118-ए केरल पुलिस अधिनियम संशोधन’ को लागू नहीं किया जाएगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि इस एक्ट के खिलाफ हो रहे विरोध के बाद हमने ये फैसला किया है। मुख्यमंत्री पिनाराई विजयन ने कहा है, ‘जब से इस अधिनियम में संशोधन की घोषणा की गई, तभी से अलग-अलग स्वर देखने को मिल रहे हैं। इस अधिनियम को लेकर एलडीएफ का समर्थन करने वाले और लोकतंत्र की रक्षा के लिए खड़े लोगों ने भी विरोध दर्ज किया तो इसीलिए फिलहाल इसे लागू करने का कोई विचार नहीं है।’
