Kalahandi, YNN (Nilesh Kumar Nag): In a remarkable achievement, Priyanksita Rout, a student of the Arts department at Pragati Concept School, has put Kalahandi district on the global map. She was selected as India’s sole representative to participate in the International Model United Nations (IMUN) 2025, held in Hanoi, Vietnam from October 3rd to 5th.
This prestigious gathering saw young talents from across the world debate pressing global issues. Competing on an international stage, Priyanksita delivered a powerful and insightful address on the “Gender Pay Gap,” championing the cause of women’s empowerment. Her compelling arguments and articulate presentation resonated deeply with the adjudicators, leading her to be crowned the first-place winner.
The Secretary of Pragati Institutions, Mr Ajay Kumar Panda, expressed his profound congratulations, stating that her success is an inspiration to the entire institution and community.
