Kalahandi, Yadu News Nation (Lingaraj Mishra): Poet and retired teacher Kulamani Singh has passed away. He was 75 years old at the time of his death. He breathed his last at his residence in Jujurrang due to old age. His elder son Kusmani, younger son Krishnamani, two sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and friends were present at his deathbed. His demise has cast a shadow of grief over the area. Kulamani Singh was well-known in Kalahandi district as a well-known poet, writer and teacher. Among the books written and published by him are Khandamada Geet, Ramsita Vana Bihar, Gurbar Bazaar, Maa Manikeswari Mulavan, Sishu Sankhali, Chalanti Thakurkanka Pujaarchana, Ashta Kaliki, Kalamanik, Juvadhan Suraka Kavitha, Rajeswari Bilas, Yamaka Manjari, Ashcha Phidhana, Parvata Adar etc, which were well received by the people. For this, he was also honored by many institutions. Shri Singh was a sweet-spoken, friendly, and charitable personality. He taught for many years as a teacher in primary schools of Jamajoor, Ulikupa, Chianpadar, Kanavira and jujurang villages and retired in 2008. He was the president of Maa Binapani Sanskrutik Anusthan for 15 years.
