Golamunda (Sushant Kumar Dalei): Fueled by aspirations to create a positive impact on society, Dolly Bandichhod shared the same desires as any driven individual. Hailing from an economically underprivileged background, she diligently self-studied and achieved success in her matriculation exams. However, her path took an unexpected turn as she grappled with mental health obstacles that left her facing cognitive disabilities. Her aspirations of attaining higher education remained unfulfilled, even as her parents struggled to provide the necessary care. Dolly Bandichhod, a resident of Grindol village within Manjhari GP in the Golamunda block of Kalahandi district, found herself deserted by her stepmother, Sapuri Bandichhod, and her father, Gobardhan Bandichhod. In her current situation, she relies on the compassion of neighbors for her daily sustenance. Numerous media outlets have highlighted her plight. This past Wednesday, through a united effort involving Golmunda block administration, Block Chairman Bindu Mahanand, officials from Bahujan Sangram Samiti, and various dedicated social workers, Dolly Bandichhod found solace and care at Dharmagarh Missionary of Charity. Prominent figures in attendance included Golamunda Block Chairman Bindu Mahanand, Manjhari Sarpanch Jagajjiban Agharia, Bikash Panda, Rupesh Panda, Social Security Officer Bulu Behera, Bahujan Sangram Samiti President Ranjan Kumar Jal, Social Worker Dhaga Naik, and Shyam Sundar Agarwal.
