R Santhanagopalan Becomes New Labour And ESI Department Secy

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has posted R Santhanagopalan, a 2001 batch IAS officer, as the secretary of Labour and ESI Department.

The senior Bureaucrat has recently returned from the central deputation. He will replace 1995 batch officer Chitra Arugumam.

She has been transferred as the special secretary of Planning and Coordination department, a notification issued by the General Administration department stated.

She had been working in the Labour and ESI department since August 2020. She had requested the government for transfer citing health issues.
