Sambalpur: Today an observance meeting on World Day against Child Labour was organised in the office premises of JLC, Sambalpur. In the said meeting ADM(General), Sambalpur Sri Ashok Kumar Bhoi; Secretary, DLSA Smt. Soumya Pradhan, Chairman CWC, Sri Prasanta Padhi were among distinguished guests. Dr. Prof. B.N.Behera, Principal & Dean, L.R. Law College, Sambalpur graced the ocassion as Chief Speaker and awared about legal protection and safeguards for children forced into labour. The programme was presided by JLC, Sambalpur, Sri Maheswar Naik. A Sachetanata Ratha was flagged off. Several employers from commerical establishment, Bidi & Cigar establishments, members of NGO’s participated in the meeting.
