Filaria Eradication Campaign: Launching Ceremony of Group Medicine in Narla

Kalahandi (Lingaraj Mishra): The launch ceremony of group medicine for the Filaria Eradication Campaign was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Medical Officer-in-Charge Dr. Akshay Kumar Gochayat at the Narla Community Health Center premises. Narla ZDP Harishankar Majhi was the chief guest, District Additional Chief Medical Officer Niharendra Panda was the special guest, Narla Sarpanch Tanuja Harpal was the guest of honor, Additional Block Education Officer Govardhan Majhi was the guest of honor. The guests expressed their views at the ceremony that by using group medicine, we can completely eradicate Filaria disease. The District VBDTS Santosh Bagh stage was organized. At the beginning of the program, Narla Medical Officer-in-Charge Dr. Gochayat introduced the guests, delivered the welcome speech and gave the orientation of the program. BPM Sabir Padhan organized the program while Dr. Sanjay Naik, Dr. Manaswini Panigrahi, PHO Bimal Chandra Deep, Narla VBDTS Debashish Bhoi, Ajit Acharya collaborated in organizing the main program. The mass drug administration program will start from February 10 and continue till February 19. ASHA, Anganwadi workers and volunteers will go door to door to distribute anti-falaria drugs, explain to people the seriousness of this disease, and make everyone aware that taking medicine is essential for this. For this, 352 drug distributors have been appointed in 176 teams in Narla block area. BPM Sabir Padhan and Debashish Bhoi supervised the program, while 54 people have been given the responsibility of observers. All the employees of Narla Community Health Center were present and cooperated in organizing this event organized in Narla Community Health Center premises.
