Reaches out to more than 100 children from local communities
Lanjigarh: Vedanta Lanjigarh, India’s premier producer of smelter -grade alumina and a unit of Vedanta Aluminium, celebrated Children’s Day with more than 100 children from local communities, creating a day brimming with joy, inspiration, and meaningful engagement.
Children’s Day is celebrated every year to mark the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. In the spirit of this year’s theme, ‘For every child, every right’, Vedanta Lanjigarh organized an array of activities at DAV Vedanta International School, Kalahandi district’s first English-medium school. The celebration included fun games, motivational sessions, cultural performances, and a vibrant book festival. The event also saw the participation of senior government dignitaries, adding significance to the event.
