Nuapada | YNN | (Surendra Kumar Swain): Sri Jagannath College of Physiotherapy, Nuapada Celebrated ” World Physiotherapy Day” at Sahu Samaj, Khariar Road. Principal Dr. Abhinash Tiwari, Ravikant, Omkar Panda graced the occasion & encouraged the fraternity.
They expressed happiness in the services being rendered & shared their experiences with the audience. One of the highlights & important part of the celebration was “Free Physiotherapy Consultation & Awareness Camp”. Near about 70 patients from Khariar Road & nearby villages attended the camp. Principal Dr. Abhinash Tiwari alongwith all the staff Ravikant, Omkar Panda, Kanishka Sahu, and Anugraha Jyoti Prakash Das guided the students. This Camp was organised to create awareness of Physiotherapy treatment, render best services to restore maximum functional ability at shoestring budget. Atlast the students presented posters to educate visitors on musculoskeletal & lifestyle diseases and the role of Physiotherapists in these diseases.
The efforts of the students were applauded by the audience. The programme ended with a vote of thanks by the trustee member Akash Mishra where he thanked all the students & faculty for their support in making the Celebration a grand success.
