Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Programme Held at Pragati Institutions

Kalahandi, YNN (Rajat Bansal): The Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Programme, organized by the Union Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, has been held at Pragati Institutions, Bhawanipatna. This significant event focused on addressing the pressing issue of de-addiction in educational institutions and empowering the youth to lead a drug-free life.

During the programme, a heartfelt pledge was taken by all staff and students, emphasizing the crucial role of youth in the nation’s development. The pledge highlighted the importance of personal commitment to a drug-free lifestyle, stating:

“Dear friends, Youth is the energy of any nation and the power of youth has an important contribution in the development of society and country. Therefore, it is very important that maximum number of youth join the drug-free India campaign. Accepting this challenge of the country, today we unite under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and take a pledge that not only the community, family, friends, but also ourselves will be drug-free because change should start with ourselves. So let us all together take a firm decision to make our Kalahandi, Odisha drug-free. I pledge that I will do everything possible to the best of my ability to make my country drug-free. Jai Hind!”

The event saw the active participation of key figures from Pragati Institutions, including Head Ajay Kumar Panda, Principal Tapas Parimanik, Seshadev Mund, Chinmay Guru, and Pranab Kumar Panda. Alongside them, all teachers, non-teaching staff, and students united in their commitment to making the country drug-free.

This initiative is a part of the broader Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, which aims to create a drug-free India by raising awareness and promoting de-addiction efforts across the nation.
