Lanjigarh Teachers Association Celebrates Bana Mahotsav, Plants Trees for Sustainability

Lanjigarh, YNN (Nilesh Kumar Nag): The Lanjigarh Block Primary Teachers Association, in collaboration with the Forest Department and Jodabandh Upper Primary School Management Committee, celebrated the 75th Bana Mahotsav with great fervor at Jodaband Upper Primary School. The event was presided over by Association President Pramod Kumar Mohanty, with Additional Block Education Officer Laxmipriya Muduli and Forester Suresh Chandra Rout serving as chief guests.

The ceremony was attended by teachers, students, and esteemed guests, including Association General Secretary M.S. Shekhar, School Headmaster Gobardhan Majhi, and Senior Teacher Subas Chandra Naik. The event was inspired by the theme “A tree for mother,” and all present took an oath to plant and nurture a tree.

The successful event was made possible through the contributions of teachers Ratnakar Dora, Jitendra Naik, Sunil Mallik, Satya Behera, and Tilottma Dalei. Jalandhar Majhi delivered the vote of thanks, and Guru Gobinda Mohanty skillfully moderated the program.

The Lanjigarh Block Primary Teachers Association has demonstrated its commitment to addressing societal challenges and has received appreciation from the local community and intellectuals for its philanthropic efforts.
