Retirement Felicitation for Senior Teacher Dayanidhi Padhan

Kalahandi, YNN— After a long and dedicated career, Senior Teacher Dayanidhi Padhan bid farewell to Sarian Upper Primary School in Narla block, Kalahandi district. The school community gathered to honor his service during a heartfelt felicitation ceremony held on the school premises.

The event was graced by several distinguished individuals, including eminent educationist and artist Jagulal Bhoi, Panchayat High School Sarian’s headmaster Sadhuram Bhoi, retired teacher Krushna Chandra Naik, School Management Committee Chairman Rajesh Benia, and social worker Bijay Bhoi.

During the ceremony, School headmaster Tankadhar Saha shared poignant memories of Mr. Padhan’s teaching journey. Mr. Padhan began his teaching career on September 28, 1989, and joined Sarian Upper Primary School on August 18, 2012. His unwavering commitment to education left a lasting impact on students and colleagues alike.

As a token of appreciation, Mr. Padhan received a felicitation plaque, towel and gifts. Teacher Basudev Bag conducted the proceedings, and bank officer Sushil Gadtia delivered the vote of thanks.

Following the formal programme, fellow teachers accompanied Mr. Padhan to his residence in Bargaon, where they bid him farewell in a touching gesture of camaraderie. Teachers Balabhadra Harijan, Kishore Chandra Tripathi, Sudhir Rout, and others from the cluster contributed to the successful event.
