Kalahandi District Achieves Third Consecutive Best Kempori Award Triumph

Kalahandi: Kalahandi has once again been recognized for its exemplary efforts in the Scouts and Guides programmes, securing the Best Kempori Award for the third year in a row. The prestigious accolade was bestowed by His Excellency Governor Raghubar Das during a special event held at the Raj Bhavan Abhishek Hall in Bhubaneswar. The district’s commitment to fostering character development, personality enhancement, and a service-oriented mindset among students has been the cornerstone of its success.

The award was received by the Chief Commissioner of Kalahandi Bharat Scouts and Guides, Sushant Kumar Chopdar, who also serves as the District Education Officer, alongside the District Secretary and Inspector of Physical Education, Sanjay Kumar Mishra. Under Mr. Chopdar’s leadership, the district has introduced a range of innovative programmes that have significantly contributed to the Scouts and Guides movement in India, earning state-level acclaim.

Mr. Chopdar’s dedication to education has also been recognized with the Mukhyamantri Shiksha Puraskar, honoring him as the best District Education Officer. The continuous recognition of Kalahandi as the best Kempori district has brought a surge of joy and pride to the community, celebrating their collective achievements in the realm of education and youth development.
