Khariar Road (Surendra Kumar Swain): Teachers’ Day Celebration at Navoditya Higher Secondary School, Khariar Road, was celebrated on5 September2026 with great enthusiasm. Chief Guest Dr. Baidyanath Bag, Assistant Professor, NIT Raipur, graced the occasion. Guests of Honour included Shri Saroj Kumar Sahu, President, District Football Association Nuapada, Shri Prakash Kumar Sahu, President, District Cricket Association Nuapada, Shri Hitesh Kumar Sahu, Principal, National College Nuapada, Shri Khirod Padi, Shri Sudhir Kumar Joshi, Shri Sushant Kumar Joshi, Shri Rameshwar Pradhan, Shri Vidyadhar Majhi, and Smt. Sajida Rahman. School Principal Shri Madhusudan Mund and Director Mr. Ashik Rahman led the programme.
The event featured cultural performances including dance and music by students. All teachers were felicitated with shawls, mementos, framed souvenirs, and gifts. Special recognition was given to retired teachers. Reporters and media representatives were also present. The programme was successfully organised with the efforts of students, including Swayyam Agrawal, Ayushi, Aradhana, and team members under the directorship of Mr. Ashik Rahman. The event concluded with a vote of thanks.
