Kalahandi, YNN (Lingaraj Mishra): A preparatory meeting was held to finalise arrangements for the upcoming Silver Jubilee celebrations of Panchayat High School, Sarian. The event, marking 25 years of the institution, is scheduled to take place on the 20th and 21st of December.
The meeting was chaired by Om Prakash Chhatria, President of the School’s Alumni Association. Detailed discussions were held regarding the extensive two-day programme of events planned for the jubilee.
The session saw attendance from a wide array of dignitaries and stakeholders. Among those present were former MLA Kumarmani Sabar, the school’s Headmaster Sadhuram Bhoi, teachers Ganga Narayan Dash (Mathematics), Kailash Chandra Bhoi (English), and Physical Education Teacher Umakanta Bhoi. Retired teachers Jugulal Bhoi and Nirmal Chandra Bhoi were also in attendance.
The meeting further included lawyer Sanjay Dhangadamajhi, retired clerk Pramod Chandra Bhoi, retired Peon Bholanath Dhangadamajhi, Sarian Samiti member Bhaskar Bhoi, and Alumni Association Vice-President Bijay Dhangadamajhi along with Raghunath Deep. Advisor Jemanta Podh, joint secretaries Reena Bhoi and Somyaranjan Sa, treasurer Narottam Karuan, members Chandra Shekhar Sahu and Himadri Bhoi, along with other association functionaries and alumni, were also present.
The meeting was coordinated by Alumni Association General Secretary Ramesh Chandra Sahu and Joint Secretary Achyutananda Bhoi.
