Kalahandi, YNN — Rukmani Goud, a Class IX pupil from Govt. High School, Attangguda, has secured the first position in the district-level competition under the Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan (RAA). The event formed part of the District Level Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani, Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan, and Mission Life Eco-Club 2025, held at Govt. High School, Dharamgarh.
Her innovative project, guided by Science Teacher Santosh Pattnaik, has earned her selection for the State-Level Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani, Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan, and Mission Life Eco-Club 2025.
The exhibition showcased scientific models and eco-friendly initiatives by pupils from across the district, promoting enquiry-based learning in science and mathematics as part of the national Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan.
Distinguished guests included Special Guest Sudhir Ranjan Pattjoshi (MLA, Dharamgarh) and Dharamgarh Sub-Collector Preksha Agarwal, IAS. Other attendees were the Kalahandi DEO, ADEO,
former ADEO, and all Block BEOs.
Another special guest, Dr. Sesha Kisan, a chemical scientist and CEO & Founder of Dr. Sesha Kisan Pharma, motivated the participants.
Rukmani’s achievement was supported by Headmaster Sr. SES Gitanjali Pradhan and CRCC Attanguda Bijaya Kumar Dash, from Duarsuni Panchayat in Bhawanipatna Block.
Dignitaries commended the pupils and teachers for fostering scientific temperament in rural areas. Rukmani’s success highlights the talent in government schools of remote districts like Kalahandi.
