Jayapatna, Yadu News Nation (Dhaneshwar Punji): Students of Patitapawan College blocked the Motor-Mukhiguda PWD road near Motelguda Chowk under Jayapatana block in Kalahandi district. According to the information received, the Aarebeda Rd road from Motelguda Chowk has been in a deplorable condition for a long time. Students of Patitapawan Higher Secondary School who use this road are facing difficulties. On the other hand, the Laxmi bus service has also been stopped due to the collapse of a bridge in the middle of this road. Although many demands and complaints were made regarding this road problem, no results were obtained. Therefore, the students were forced to block the road. On receiving the news, Jayapatana BDO Dharmaraj Majhi and Kalampur Police Station Officer Shiba Shankar Mahanty, Badkutru Phandi Officer Asit Kumar Panda reached the spot and held talks with the students. Since the construction of this road is under the responsibility of the RD, the officials present promised to start the road repair immediately after discussing with the departmental officials. Subsequently, the road blockade was withdrawn at 1 pm.
