Kalahandi, YNN (Lingaraj Mishra): The Burat Cluster Level Shishu Surabhi event was successfully organised at Gohirapadar Upper Primary School in Narla Block. The programme aimed to nurture the hidden talents of students.
The inaugural session commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and the worship of Goddess Saraswati. The session was presided over by distinguished guests, including senior teacher Hari Arjun Singh, CRCC Shravan Kumar Rath, former Santpur Sarpanch Tikedhar Sahu, and others.

Sujit Kumar Panda, Headmaster of the host school, moderated the first session. A series of competitive events were held, with teachers from various cluster schools serving as judges to ensure the smooth execution of the competitions.
A second session was held for the prize distribution, graced by Narla Block Education Officer Tapimani Jani, BRCC Gobardhan Majhi, and other officials from the education block. They, along with senior headmasters and a social worker, distributed awards to the winning students.

The cultural segment of the event was conducted by Sujit Kumar Panda. A highlight was the recitation of the poem “Surabhi,” composed and presented by teacher-poet Kshitish Chandra Majhi.
The event was made successful through the active participation of numerous teachers, including Purushottam Patra, Sharat Kumar Padhan, Ambika Panda, and many others.
Concluding the program, CRCC Shravan Kumar Rath expressed his gratitude to all attendees, guests, and participants for making the Shishu Surabhi a resounding success.
