Tikrapara, Yadu News Nation (Ramakant Rajapalia): A Kalash Yatra was held on Sunday evening in Tikrapara, Saintala block, on the occasion of Gajalakshmi Puja. After collecting water from a nearby Pond by women, the water-filled Kalash was installed in the puja mandap. Dukhishyam Rana, Bishnupriya Rana, Biranchi Rana, Mohini Rana are the Karta, while Ganesh Thakur, Kapilendra Tripathi are performing the puja duties. Sunil Mishra Vyas of Patnagarh is the one. This puja will continue till the 9th. Various cultural programs including Dandanarthya will be performed every night, the organizing committee said. The villagers are cooperating in managing the program.
