Bhubaneswar, Yadu News Nation: Government jobs are being sold in the state with the encouragement of the government. Tenders are being given to an unnamed company that does not have the required funds to conduct the recruitment exam. Since that company has hired another company to conduct the exam, incidents like distortion, widespread irregularities and job selling are repeatedly happening in the recruitment exam. Government should recommend a CBI investigation into the Odisha Police SI recruitment exam incident – Candidates caught should be debarred from the recruitment exam and exemplary action should be taken against the company involved in the incident. There is corruption as no action is being taken against the officers and brokers involved in job selling and the candidates who are getting the job. Earlier, 86 candidates, including some from outside the state, were caught red-handed while getting the question paper before the JEE exam and preparing for it. This has happened again because no concrete action has been taken against them. The Samajwadi Party has demanded that the government take this incident seriously and disqualify all the candidates caught from the recruitment examination. Earlier, a judicial inquiry under the direct supervision of the CBI or a working judge of a high court for the ARI-Amin, Forester-Forest Guard and now SI examinations will bring about transparency in the recruitment process.
