Bhawanipatna, YNN: ICMS Institute successfully organized its Welcome cum One-Day Orientation Programme at Centenary Hall, Braja Mohan HS, Bhawanipatna on Saturday, September 14, 2024. The programme was designed to welcome new students, introduce them to the institute’s vision, culture, and academic environment, and inspire them for their educational journey ahead.

The event commenced with registration, welcome kit distribution, and breakfast, followed by a formal welcome address and lighting of the lamp by the Director and Advisor of ICMS, who shared the values, goals, and expectations of the institution.
A detailed presentation on the history and achievements of ICMS was delivered by Mr. Prasant Sir (Director, ICMS) and Mr. Manoj Ku. Sahu (Advisor, ICMS). Mr. Sudhal Dev Mund, ABEO, Narla, also addressed the gathering with words of encouragement.

The highlight of the day was a series of inspiring guest lectures delivered by eminent academicians and professionals including Mr. Iswar Chandra Behera (Sr. TE, DIET, KLD), Dr. Niranjan Sabar (Prof., Sanskrit, UU, Bhubaneswar), Mr. Satish Kumar Panda (ET&T Computer Education), Dr. Sanatan Majhi (Prof., Bio-Tech, UU, Bhubaneswar), and Dr. Major Jaydeb Sahoo (Dy. Registrar & HOD English, MMU). Their valuable insights on education, discipline, and career growth left a lasting impression on the students.

The programme also featured the inauguration of the MATS University Distance Course and the official ICMS Institute Website. Students were further briefed on campus facilities, counseling services, career guidance, rules, and code of conduct, ensuring a smooth academic transition.
In the session “Student Life @ ICMS,” students shared their aspirations and experiences, reflecting their enthusiasm and excitement about being part of the institute.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Priyanka Dash (Freshers Student), who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, guest speakers, faculty, media representatives, bloggers, staff, and students for their presence and support. She also acknowledged the vital role of the media in spreading ICMS’s vision and mission to the larger community.

The event was graced by the presence of office bearers Narayan Sethia, Priyanka Hial, and Sanyasi Dakua, along with dedicated teachers Durbadal Patel, Tularam Majhi, Himansu Meher, and Lulu Rath.
The day concluded with lunch and informal networking, marking a warm and inspiring beginning for the students of ICMS Institute.
