Kalahandi, YNN (Lingaraj Mishra): Young Blood Public School, Rupra Road marked its second annual function with a series of events culminating in a grand closing ceremony. The celebrations began last Sunday with the inauguration of the school’s new campus in Lakhaguda, and concluded on Thursday evening at the Jagannath Temple premises in Rupra Road.
The closing ceremony was graced by prominent figures from the school’s management committee, including Vice Chairman Ratan Kumar Agrawal, Secretary Sumit Kumar Agrawal, and senior members Anand Kumar Agrawal, Mahesh Agrawal, Kailash Kumar Agrawal, Rupchan Jain, Pradeep Kumar Agrawal, and Devesh Kumar Agrawal, who were seated on the dais.
Advisors Devidev Sharma and Subas Chandra Agrawal delivered inspiring messages, urging teachers to focus on the all-round development of students. Rupra Road Sarpanch, attending as a guest, presented tokens of appreciation to the school’s teachers and staff while wishing the institution a bright future. The event was presided over by the school’s Vice Principal, Bibhu Ranjan Mahahuti.
Students who excelled in various competitions were felicitated with awards by the school management committee members and staff. The occasion also saw the recognition of landowners who donated land for the school’s development, honouring their contributions. The highlight of the evening was a captivating array of cultural performances by the school’s young students, which enthralled the audience.
The event was supported by a dedicated team of teachers, including Anima Agrawal, Nivedita Sahu, Tulasi Behera, Premanjali Podh, Puja Agrawal, Anju Behera, Kunti Bhoi, Bijay Kumar Mahapatra, Chaitanya Sahu, Padmanabh Jhankar, Tushar Goud, and Debendra Senapati. Non-teaching staff Dhiroj Sethi, Sumitra Podh, and Brundaban Sa also played key roles in ensuring the smooth execution of the programme.
