Kolkata, YNN (Rajat Bansal): Hindi Pakhwada celebration has been started at the eastern regional office of Sahitya Academi, Kolkata. Sahitya Akademi is celebrating the occasion from 17-30 September. On this occasion, the inaugural address was delivered by the officer-in-charge of the Kolkata office Kshetrabasi Naik. He spoke on the importance of celebrating Hindi Day and Hindi Pakhwada.
He also informed about various competitions organized by the office. Hindi Essay, Translation and Dictation competition were held among the staff of the Sahitya Akademi, Kolkata. A prize giving ceremony will be held on 23 September in the office auditorium of Sahitya Akademi. The inaugural programme was conducted by Programme officer Avishek Rath.
