Danteswari High School Student Rashmiranjan Rana to Receive Odia Bhasha Brutti Samman

Kalahandi, YNN (Rajat Bansal): In a momentous recognition, Rashmiranjan Rana, a student from the small village of Behera in the Dharamgarh block of Kalahandi District, has been selected for the State Level Mukhyamantri Odia Bhasha Brutti Samman for the academic year 2024-25. This esteemed award honours his exceptional performance in the Odia language, distinguishing him as one of only 33 students across the state to be recognised.

Rashmiranjan, who studies at Danteswari High School, is the son of the late Madhu Rana and Jashoda Rana. His achievement has brought immense pride not only to his school but also to the entire Kalahandi district. He is the sole recipient of this award from the district, making his selection particularly noteworthy.

The Board of Secondary Education officially announced the recipients through letter number 25482 on 31 August 2024. Rashmiranjan will be honoured in a special ceremony in Bhubaneswar on Teachers’ Day, where he will receive his award.

The announcement has sparked widespread joy and celebration in his community. Among those who extended their heartfelt congratulations to Rashmiranjan were his school headmaster, Rupendra Banua, local MLA Sudhir Ranjan Pattajoshi, senior teacher Hukim Chandra Naik, Behera Sarpanch Kumudini Gainta, Samiti Member Kishore Chandra Nag, and other well-wishers including Prashant Tiwari, Balaram Pujhari, Ghanashyam Patel, etc.
