The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, has officially announced the results of the 12th annual examination. Among the high-achieving students, Ishaneswar Negi from Pragati Science Higher Secondary School in Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi district, has emerged as the district topper with an impressive score of 546.
Ishaneswar, the son of Bhawani Shankar Negi and Maheshwata Negi from Kashibahal under Dharmagarh block, has set a remarkable example by securing the highest marks in the district. His outstanding performance reflects his dedication and hard work throughout the academic year.
But Ishaneswar is not the only shining star from Pragati Institution. Bishampa Meher, with a score of 543, and Sujit Kumar Sahu, with 540 marks, have also contributed to the district’s success by achieving scores above 90 percent. Baishampa, the son of Harbaria Meher and Panchali Meher from Kapia village (under Sinapali block, Nuapada district), and Sujit, the son of Ranju Sahu and Sushama Sahu from Mundapala village (under Narla block, Kalahandi district), have made their families and communities proud.
The parents and guardians of these exceptional students are elated by the results and have expressed their gratitude to the school authorities. They extend heartfelt thanks to the dedicated teachers and faculty members who played a crucial role in nurturing their children’s talents.
Pragati College has reason to celebrate as well. This year, 27 students scored above 500 marks, 49 students achieved marks above 80 percent, and an impressive 263 students secured first-class results. The college’s overall examination result stands at a perfect 100 percent, reflecting the institution’s commitment to excellence in education.
The unexpected success of these students has sparked excitement among parents, students, and educators alike. The college’s chairperson, Ms. Sangeeta Panda, and secretary, Er. Ajay Kumar Panda, have acknowledged the collective effort of the teaching faculty, parents, and students. Their dedication and support have contributed significantly to this remarkable achievement.
