Kalahandi: The matriculation results of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (OAV) have been announced. In Kalahandi District’s Narla OAV, Swayam Swagat Kar from Narla Road secured the top position with 94.4 percent marks, followed by Laxmi Agrawal of Rupra Road in second place with 94.2 percent marks, and Mousumi Padhan of Titkela in third place with 92.8 percent marks. Swayam Swagat Kar, son of Narla Road Jayadurga High School science teacher Santosh Kumar Kar and teacher Sasmita Das, has previously been honored for his achievements at state and national science fairs. He scored 472 out of 500 marks in school and achieved a perfect score of 100 in mathematics. Additionally, two other students, Lakshmi Agrawal and Smrutirekha Mohanty, also scored perfect marks in Mathematics. Mousumi Padhan, securing the third position, is the daughter of Naveen Kumar Padhan and Rita Padhan of Titkela. Mohanty from Narla Model School secured 91.8% marks, while Swagat Sahu claimed the fifth position with 90.4 marks. Out of 75 students who appeared for the matriculation examination from Narla OAV, 70 passed and 5 received compartmentalized results. The successful students attributed their achievements to the support of their teachers and parents, while the school principal, Jayant Khamari, congratulated them and wished them a bright future. Raj Kishor Rana, the math teacher, and other faculty members expressed their joy at the students’ accomplishments.
