Sonepur: Due to the acute blood shortage at Sonepur District Headquarters Hospital, activists from Sonepur Nagar Bajrang Dal organized a voluntary blood donation camp. Arvind Barik, a youth organizer and senior Bajrang Dal activist, inaugurated the camp as the chief guest. Himanshu Shekhar Gadtia attended and expressed gratitude to all blood donors and Bajrang Dal workers. Under the leadership of Jitu Badamali, district coordinator of Bajrang Dal, 30 units of blood were collected. Notable officials including District Coordinator Subrat Barik, Balgopal Panda, and Ashish Sarangi, alongside Sonepur Area Chief Muna Bagarty, City Student Chief Likun Sahu, District Student Chief Sarjan Pandey, and others, contributed to the cause. Senior activists like Deepak Mohapatra, Pintu Panda, and Subas Panda encouraged new blood donors. Manoj Panda, president of Zilla Raktadata Seva Sangha, also extended support. Dr. Saroj Patel from District Blood Bank, Councilor Jagat Darwan, Lab Technician Titu Bhoi, and Yudhisthir Naik were instrumental in facilitating the blood collection process.
