Bhubaneswar: Renowned Odia actor and director, Sadhu Meher, passed away at the age of 84 on Friday. Known for his outstanding performances in Odia and Hindi films, he received the Padma Sri in 2017 for his lifetime contributions to entertainment. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed deep condolences, highlighting Meher’s significant impact on both film industries. Many actors and directors from the Odia cinema community also shared their condolences on his sad demise.
