Thuapadar High School Shines in State Folk Dance Competition

Bhawanipatna: The State Level Folk Dance Competition for 2023 recently took place at Unit-6 Girls High School, Bhubaneswar, where the remarkable performance of Thuapadar High School students from Kalahandi District, supervised by Teacher Diptimayee Singh, captured everyone’s attention.

This journey began with the team’s victory in the district level dance competition under Smt. Singh’s leadership. Their performance revolved around the theme “Boys and Girls are Equal,” which resonated with the audience, earning them a well-deserved third place at the state level. The team consisted of talented students Bharati Bag, Bhagyashree Rana, Ankita Dhangadamajhi, Seema Jani, Trupti Harijan, and Santoshini Tandi. Headmaster Dharmendra Pradhan extended his best wishes to all the students for their achievements.

Notably, Thupadar High School also secured the second position in the zonal level science drama competition held at Koraput, adding to the school’s pride. The success of the students would not have been possible without the support and guidance of dedicated teachers, including Girija Shankar Sahu, Biranchi Tandi, Mrutyunjaya Pati, Shibadatta Panda, Dhuntisa Ranjan Majhi, Bibhuti Pradhan, Narendra Kumjharia, Umakanta Panigrahi, Tapan Sahu, Keshab Pradhan, and Soudamini Banagola, as well as Digambar Bhoi.
