Puri: Six persons including a Bhoi servitor were injured after the rope of Taladhwaja Chariot carrying Lord Balabhadra snapped near Market Chhak on the Grand Road in Puri on Wednesday.
Following the mishap, all the injured were shifted to the Puri District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
Notably, nearly 30 devotees sustained injuries following a stampede during pulling of Taladhwaja chariot of Lord Balabhadra at Marichikote Chhak on the day of Rath Yatra.
