Five health workers including two medical officers found absent
Deoria (Ashutosh Yadav): District Magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh conducted a surprise inspection of Community Health Center Bhagalpur Parasia Chandaur today afternoon. During the inspection, 5 health workers including 2 medical officers were found absent. The DM has called for the explanation of the absent personnel by deducting one day’s salary.
Medical Officer Archana Gupta, Medical Officer Manish Singh, Lab Technician Narayan Shukla, Counselor Kanchan Pandey and Priyanka Mishra were found absent during the District Magistrate’s inspection. Apart from this, Rudal Gupta, working in the X-ray department, was on casual leave for the last three days. The DM also directed to match their leave accounts. The District Magistrate asked for information regarding OPD and medicine distribution, which could not be answered satisfactorily. The DM also obtained information about the investigations being done in the Dental Department and Lab. The District Magistrate also reviewed the arrangement of cleanliness in the health center. The District Magistrate said that the State Government is committed to provide free quality medical services to the people. The accountability of the officers who are negligent in health services will also be fixed.
