Deoria (Ashutosh Yadav): On the instructions of District Magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh, the block education officers of 16 blocks in 5-5 council primary schools operating in each block of the district, made surprise inspections of the mid-day meal menu in their respective blocks. Checked the food available accordingly. Tehri and milk are distributed among the students on Wednesdays, which were inspected. Found distributed in all 80 schools. There is a provision to give 150 ml milk to each student in primary schools and 200 ml milk in upper primary schools on Wednesday. The Block Education Officer said that according to the menu in the schools, fruits and milk are compulsorily distributed among the students studying on every Monday or Wednesday. A committee of District School Inspector, District Minority Welfare Officer, District Social Welfare Officer, District Panchayat Raj Officer and all Block Education Officers ensure compliance of the said menu.
