Notice to 11 petrol pumps for deficiencies related to stock records, fire license and public utility facilities.
Deoria (Ashutosh Yadav): Today, on the instructions of District Magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh, an intensive campaign was conducted to check 26 petrol pumps under the leadership of sub-district magistrates in all the tehsils of the district. In the campaign, deficiencies were found in the stock records of 2 petrol pumps, non-availability of up-to-date fire fighting/explosive license in 5 pumps and non-availability of public utility facilities in 6 petrol pumps. Notice has been issued to all these petrol pump establishments.
The District Magistrate formed two teams for investigation in Deoria Sadar. The first team included Senior Inspector Weight Measurement Ashok Kumar Singh, Supply Inspector Pramod Pandey under the leadership of SDM Saurabh Singh. The second team included Additional Deputy District Magistrate Manzoor Ahmed and Regional Food Officer Phanishwar Tripathi. In Salempur, the investigation was done by SDM Arun Verma and Supply Inspector Srinarayan and Distribution Measurement Inspector Piyush Kumar. In Barhaj, SDM Yogesh Kumar and Supply Inspector Akhtar Sagir, SDM Dhruv Shukla and Supply Inspector Abhay Narayan Lal in Rudrapur and SDM Sanjeev Kumar Upadhyay and Supply Inspector Shivkumar in Bhatpar Rani conducted a thorough investigation. The District Magistrate directed for regular inspection of petrol and diesel pumps and to check the standards set by the government. There was no complaint related to reduction and density of oil at any pump.*Deficiency in stock records*
