7 students of Tapan got gold, silver and bronze medals
Narla (Lingaraj Mishra): Renowned karate coach Tapan Gaud has once again shown his mettle in Gujarat. In the 4th Gujarat State Versatile Karate Championship held at Lions Karate Club, Jamnagar, one student of Tapan won gold medal while 3 others won silver and 3 bronze medals. Coach Tapan has become a popular face in the karate world of Gujarat, as 7 of his young students have achieved stupendous success in the state level competition. Tapan Gaud of Budhipadar village in Narla block of Kalahandi district has participated in many national and international karate competitions and achieved success. In 2022, Tapan became the ‘Martial Arts Got Talent World Champion’ and brought laurels to Odisha and the country. He has earned a name as an efficient karate coach all over Gujarat. Innovative International School’s Khush Borad got gold medal, Helin Nirav Parekh got silver medal and two other students got bronze medal. Similarly, Vision Indo Sports Academy’s Jia S Pathak has received silver medal. MSB School’s Ajab Mohammad got silver and another student has received bronze medal. Tournament organizer as well as founder and president of Lions Karate Club, Nitesh Makhavan, KIO tournament commission member Veer Chauhan and Commonwealth Karate Federation vice-president Bharat Sharma congratulated coach Tapan Gaud for the outstanding performance of his students in the state level karate competition.
