Claims to provide space and grants to the Yadav Samaj

Kalahandi (Jagdish Naik): The Kalahandi Zilla Yadav Mahasabha welcomes the recent initiative taken by the Hon’ble Chief Minister to provide land and financial assistance to the Kulta Samaj and Bhulia Samaj to build Dharmashala and Atithi Bhawan in Puri and Bhubaneswar. However, the Yadav Samaj has requested the state government to provide land and financial grants for construction of a guest house. Kalahandi Zilla Yadav Mahasabha and Yuva Yadav Mahasabha has requested Hon’ble Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik regarding this. Devotees of the Yadav caste, one of the largest caste in Western Odisha, face many difficulties to visit Lord Jagannath. Therefore, the Kalahandi Zilla Yadav Mahasabha has demanded Hon’ble Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to provide space and grants for Yadav caste. As a result, the Yadav people will be facilitated to come and stay at capital Bhubaneswar and Puri, said Kalahandi Zilla Yadav Mahasabha President Nruparaj Yadav, General Secretary Sanjay Dhangdamajhi, Vice President Dullabh Mahar, Narendra Bag, Arupananda Nag, District Media Cell Chairman Sunil Kumar Dhangdamajhi, Kalahandi District Yuva Yadav Mahasabha President Govind Banchhor, General Secretary Lingaraj Behera and Block Yadav Samiti presidents expressed hope. In addition to this, the Kalahandi District Yadav Mahasabha has also demanded an immediate caste census keeping the interests of Yadav caste and backward castes.
