CDO reviewed the departments related to agriculture

Urea should be available in sufficient quantity on the cooperative department’s committees, strictest action will be taken if deficiency is found

Deoria (Ashutosh Yadav): A review meeting of departments related to agriculture and agriculture was held under the chairmanship of Chief Development Officer Ravindra Kumar in Gandhi Auditorium of Vikas Bhavan. In the review of fertilizers and seeds, it was instructed by the Chief Development Officer that adequate quantity of urea should be available on the committees of the cooperative department so that no complaint is received from anywhere where the deficiency is found, strict action will be taken.

In the review of other schemes of the Agriculture Department such as National Food Security Mission, Crop Development Programme, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Solar Pump Scheme, it was instructed by the Chief Development Officer that 100% fulfillment of the targets should be done in time. In reviewing the plans of the Horticulture Department, it was directed to fulfill the departmental targets within 10 days and in the next meeting, it was directed to present the progress in the schemes by selecting all the beneficiaries. At the time of review of the Fisheries Department, the progress was found to be very low. On which a stern warning was given by the Chief Development Officer to the Fisheries Officer if the progress of KCC and pond leases were found to be low and directed to keep a close watch on the performance of the Junior Engineer working in the Fisheries Department.

In order to make KCC available to farmers in the Kharif campaign year 2022-23, it was instructed by the Chief Development Officer that special camps for KCC should be organized by the banks on 29th July in the month of July and on the second and fourth Wednesdays in the month of August, in which With the cooperation of the Agriculture Department and the Bank, the targets of KCC can be fulfilled 100%. Deepak Singh, the district in-charge of the Prime Minister’s Fasal Bima Yojana, was directed by the Chief Development Officer, that a big poster related to crop insurance should be put up in the development block collectorate, Vikas Bhawan, where a large number of farmers go and the insurance company’s office from 10 o’clock in the evening. Must be kept open on every working day till 5 pm.

In the meeting, Deputy Agriculture Director Vikesh Kumar, District Agriculture Officer Mohd Muzammil, officers of Agriculture Department and Agriculture related departments and LDM Arunesh Kumar and in-charge Agriculture Insurance Company Deoria’s Deepak Singh were present.
