CDO reviewed the plans of Jal Jeevan Mission

Instructed to issue notice to two firms due to slow progress

Deoria (Ashutosh Yadav): Under the chairmanship of Chief Development Officer Ravindra Kumar, the plans of Jal Jeevan Mission were reviewed through virtual medium, in which the Executive Engineer Jal Nigam (Rural) informed that the work of 216 nos. projects of M/s LC Infra Pvt. In which work of 74 nos. of overhead reservoir is in progress, 517 km of pipeline has been put in gram panchayats and FHTC 10315 nos. connections have been made and 12 DPRs were to be amended which is still pending and M/s. The work of 144 nos. project has been started by Gayatri Project Ltd., in which 16 nos. of overhead reservoir work is in progress, 247 km of pipeline has been put in gram panchayats and FHTC 4756 nos. connections have been made and Project Manager Anil Kumar The amendment in 17 DPR has not been submitted by Yadav yet.

Due to slow progress of both the firms, strict instructions were given by the Chief Development Officer to increase their progress within 10 days. 7 ISA (Implementation Support Agency) working in Deoria district, in which the number of Gram Panchayats allotted to Kumud Foundation is 114, while in 80 villages and the number of Gram Panchayats allotted for human upliftment is 117, accounts have been opened in 130 villages, which are capex from lesser villagers. Expressing displeasure due to low account, instructions were given to increase it.
Due to slow progress by the Chief Development Officer, both the firms were instructed to give notice by the Executive Engineer Jal Nigam (Rural).
