Nuapada | YNN (Surendra Kumar Swain): To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated at Sri Guru Nanak Vidyalaya, Khariar Road on 24th August 2024 with mirth & joy.
The celebration began by offering homage full of devotion to Lord Krishna through Sri Krishna Arati. The event featured a series of cultural programmes performed by the students. Principal Surendra Kumar Swain, Vice-Principal Adarsh Agrawal, alongwith all the teachers, students, parents & guardians were present to witness the festivities.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the enchanting Radhakrishna Besha & Fancy dress competition by the students which drew much admiration. The excitement continued with the “Dahi Handi” breaking competition where the students show their enthusiasm and team work.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks by Adarsh Agrawal where he thanked all the students & faculty for their support in making the Janmashtami Celebration a grand success.
