Special Book Exhibition on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose by Sahitya Akademi

Cuttack, YNN (Rajat Bansal): As part of the 2nd Parikram Diwas celebrations and to commemorate the 128th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Sahitya Akademi, India’s premier literary institution, working under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, organized a special exhibition on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, patriot, scholar, leader, philosopher and a great freedom fighter, at Barabati Fort, Cuttack on 23 January 2025.

The Exhibition was inaugurated by Sri Arunish Chawla, Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The Exhibition containing 142 books on Netaji published in different languages and 24 panels containing excerpts from those books (10 panels in Odia, 7 in English & 7 in Hindi), showcasing various phases of Netaji’s life, from his education to his entry into Congress and his becoming its President, his philosophy of armed revolution, formation of Azad Hind Fauj and war with the British Raj.

Sri Bhartruhari Mahtab, Member of Parliament, Dr K. Sreenivasarao, Secretary, Sahitya Akademi, Dr Bijayanand Singh, eminent Odia scholar were among the dignitaries that were present during the inaugural ceremony. Many literary lovers of Cuttack thronged this elegantly designed Exhibition.
