Narla (Lingraj Mishra): Dr. Kalam Science Club, an affiliate of the Vigyan Prasar network of Science Clubs.Vigyan Prasar is an autonomous organization under Department Of Science and Technology. The asteroid search campaign organized by Dr. Kalam Science Club by collaborating with international Astronomical Search collaboration which is a NASA grant Organisation. Ten teams from various states participated, including a team Dr. Kalam Science Club from Jaya Durga High School , Odisha led by Mr. Santosh Kumar Kar. The students, eager to contribute to the discovery of asteroids, received training from their science teacher Santosh Kumar kar sir itself. The ten teams managed to make 6 preliminary detections. With a vision to expand this campaign across all schools and colleges in Odisha, the national coordinator, Mr. Niranjan Behera, aims to foster greater scientific engagement among students. Jhansi Rani Sahoo trained other team in tha entire campaign.
