Bhawanipatna, YNN: The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected office-bearers of the Kalahandi District Primary Teachers’ Association was held at the Shikshak Bhawan here on Sunday. District Education Officer Radhakanta Chhatri attended the event as the chief guest. State president Dhirendra Kumar Pattnaik administered the oath to the new office-bearers. Among the distinguished guests were Debendra Bisi, DC of Sambad; Deepak Ranjan Das, State vice-president; Ravi Pattnaik, retired headmaster; and educationist Shibaprasad Behera. The oath was administered to district president Padmalochan Naik, general secretary Ajit Kumar Nayak, executive president Upendra Pradhan, vice-presidents Birendra Bag, Surendra Kumar Dora and Basumati Sahu, organising secretary Shibaprasad Das, joint secretaries Benudhar Biswal, Subash Bag and Taranga Chandi, district coordinator Khirasagar Sahu, and district treasurer Tapan Kumar Behera. The advisory council was present on the occasion. The stage was compered by Sadar block president Madhusudan Pradhan. Teachers and office-bearers from 13 blocks attended the programme.
