Karunda Kala Mancha’s Play ‘Bhinna Eka Patha’ Captivates Audience Hearts

Bhubaneswar, YNN: The play ‘Bhinna Eka Patha’ has deeply moved its audience, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. With exquisite finesse, the artists of Karunda Kala Mancha, Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi, brought to life the vivid tapestry of human existence through their performance.

Organised by Vidyakanak Srujananusthan, a four-day theatre festival was held from 15 to 19 September 2025 at the historic Bhanja Kala Mandap in Bhubaneswar. This state-level celebration of the arts saw participation from various institutions, each showcasing their creative prowess. Among them, the artists of Karunda Kala Mancha, Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi, presented the play ‘Bhinna Eka Patha’. Through their evocative performances, they portrayed the struggles and inner conflicts of a woman’s life with such heartfelt authenticity that the entire Bhanja Kala Mandap resonated with the audience’s ceaseless applause.

The play was written and directed by the esteemed Natyabhushan Pradeep D. Majhi, whose visionary artistry lent the production a distinctive brilliance. The music, imbued with soul, was directed by Guru Devendra Bag and Guru Ajay Gopal. The cast, including Arttatrana Sahu, Kahnu Charan Goud, Diptimayee Singh, Bijeta Bag and K. Gopi Nayak, breathed life into their characters, leaving a profound emotional imprint on the audience’s minds.
