Annual Function ‘Samarpan-2024’ Celebrated at Pragati Institutions, Pragati Paradise Park Inaugurated by Health Minister

Kalahandi, YNN (Rajat Bansal): The annual function of Pragati Institutions, titled ‘Samarpan-2024’, was celebrated with grandeur over two days near Bhawanipatna. The event was graced by the Hon’ble Health Minister, Dr Mukesh Mahaling, as Chief Guest, along with Dharamgarh MLA, Sudhir Ranjan Pattajoshi, and Vice-Chancellor of Maa Manikeswari University, Dr Nivedita Nath, as Guests of Honour.

Distinguished attendees included Pragati College Chief, Er Ajay Kumar Panda; Chairperson, Sushree Sangeeta Panda; Administrative Officer, Pranab Kumar Panda; Concept School Principal, Chinmay Guru; Higher Secondary School Principal, Seshadev Mund; Degree College Principal, Tapas Parimanik; Collegiate Principal, Lokanath Khadikar; Junior School Principal, Arsiya Sayla; PRIME Principal, Akash Nanda; Pragati Management Committee President, Laxmikant Behera; and Bhavendra Panda, among others.

During the event, the newly constructed ‘Pragati Paradise Park’ at Pragati Institutions was inaugurated by Dr Mukesh Mahaling. Additionally, he launched the ‘Pragati Initiative for Development and Excellence’ (PRIDE) programme, aimed at providing free education to economically disadvantaged students.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Mahaling commended Pragati Educational Institution for its exceptional achievements and welcomed the introduction of the B.Sc Nursing course. He expressed optimism that the institution would produce nursing graduates capable of excelling on the international stage and securing employment opportunities.

Echoing these sentiments, Er Ajay Kumar Panda highlighted the institution’s role in revolutionising education and its future aspirations to contribute significantly to the health sector.

The event also celebrated academic excellence. Ms Samikshya Pradhan, winner of the Pragati Prativa Puraskar test for the current academic year, was awarded first prize, while Mr Radhakanta Thela and Ms Adyasha Satapathy received the second and third prizes, respectively, accompanied by symbolic cheques.

The stage proceedings were managed by Lecturers Vidyasagar Mund and Punyadeepa Khamari. The event concluded with a vibrant cultural programme presented by students, which captivated the audience. Administrative Officer Pranab Kumar Panda delivered the vote of thanks, marking the end of the successful ‘Samarpan-2024’ celebration.
