Instructions given to give notice of cancellation of plot allotment to the owners of 42 industrial plots who have not set up industries
Deoria (Ashutosh Yadav): District Magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh today inspected Mini Industrial Estate, Pathardeva. He gave necessary guidelines regarding the development of the industrial estate. The District Magistrate said that plots were allotted to 18 entrepreneurs for setting up a total of 44 factories/factories in this industrial estate established in 1990. But, till the present time only 2 industrial centers have been established and those too were found closed during inspection today. The District Magistrate said that the purpose for which the plots were allotted has not been fulfilled yet. In such a situation, the land owners of 42 plots who do not set up industry in the mini industrial estate will be given notice to cancel the allotment. These plots will be made available to new investors. The District Magistrate said that the state government is making continuous efforts for the industrial development of the district. In this sequence, developmental works will be done at Industrial Estate, Pathardeva at a cost of Rs 2.33 crore, which includes construction of boundary, drain construction, road construction and lighting system of Industrial Estate. During this, various officers including Deputy Commissioner Industries Abhay Kumar Suman were present.
