Kalahandi (Jagdish Naik): The Odisha State Branch of Indian Red Cross Society distributed various relief materials to the 500 helpless, daily labourers, destitute, widows and differently able people of the remote and cut off Adri panchayat under Thuamul Block of Kalahandi District. The relief materials consisted of kitchen set, blanket for winter, Hygiene Kit, towels, bucket and mug. The life members of IRCS, members of Youth Red Cross Junior Red Cross of Kalahandi District and local panchayat raj members, volunteers from different social service organisations, Red Cross volunteers of Maa Manikeswari HS School, Thuamul Rampur and NCC cadets of Swami Chidananda HS School Karchala participated in the program. The relief distribution program was carried out under the direct supervison of renowned social activist Manikya Naik, Satya Narayan Mundchhina, Principal and Saroj Pattajoshi, YRC Counsellor of Maa Manikeswari HS School, Thuamul Rampur. The program was participated by Sanjib Kumar Sahu, YRC District Convenor Secretary, Santanu Kumar Parida, YRC District Coordinator, Lingaraj Patra, a life member of YRC and YRC Counsellors and Life Members- Mohan Charan Bishi, Sanjeev Kumar Mund, Sudhir Kumar Panda, Bhawani Shankar Panda, Nrusi nghananda Sasmal, Bibhuti Pattanayak and members of Junior Red Cross- Sudam Charan Mishra, Narayan Pradhan, Secretary of Profesor Bhubaneswar Behera Memorial Youth Organization – Abinash Mund, Youth Coordinator, Pravat Das and member Niranjan Hati, Odisha Television District correspondent Ingit Panda and Camera Man Krushna Naik, Sarpanch of the Panchayat Nandini Majhi, Panchaya Samiti member of Thuamul GP, Pushpanjali Naik, Social Activist Bharat Bhusan Dandasena, media representatives- Kumeswar Thakur, Laljor Naik and Sana Naik.
