Kalahandi, YNN (Rajat Bansal): Pragati Institutions, Bhawanipatna, has introduced a new B.Sc Nursing course from the current academic year, marking a significant addition to its academic portfolio. A special programme was held today to formally inaugurate the course and welcome the newly enrolled students.
The event was graced by prominent members of the institution, including Prime Principal Akash Nanda, Administrative Officer Pranab Kumar Panda, Principal Chinmay Guru, and distinguished guests Seshadev Mund, Debabrata Mohanty, Bidya Sagar Mund, and Hemangini Deep, who shared the stage. Several other notable attendees were present, including Birendra Kumar Patnaik, Loknath Khadikar, Tapas Parimanik, Anjan Kumar Rana, Ramesh Meher, Kanhu Charan Panda, and Artatrana Panda.
Speaking on the occasion, Seshadev Mund reflected on the remarkable journey of Pragati Institutions, which over more than a decade has brought about transformative changes in the field of education. He emphasised that the launch of the B.Sc Nursing course marks a new milestone, one that is poised to bring about positive changes in the healthcare sector as well.

He stressed that the nursing profession is the backbone of healthcare, offering both emotional and physical support to patients.
